Playoff Bound: Toreros Win Wild Card Monday, September 30th, 2024 They won't go into the ADULT BASEBALL LEAGUE playoffs as odds-on favorites, but the Cabo San Lucas Toreros still like their chances after capturing a wild card playoff berth. "We feel good. We obviously wanted to win the Thurman Munson League Earl Weaver Division, but we still feel we have what it takes to make a run here," said catcher Tim Cummings. "If we can win this thing, no one's going to care that we didn't win the division." The club will be vying for its 1st ADULT BASEBALL LEAGUE championship. |
