That was the resounding sentiment in the Montreal Bandits locker room when they were told they had clinched the Roberto Clemente League Tony La Russa Division title, for the 11th time. With a 90-67 record, Montreal's stars certainly feel like they have a good chance to go all the way. "We've learned a lot under Davey Morris's tutelage this year. He's taught us to never be over-confident, and to play every game like a championship game. I think with him and the team we have, we have a great chance to bring a 4th championship to Montreal this year," said starting pitcher Maurice Gould. |
