Portland Wins Top Spot in Thurman Munson League Earl Weaver Division Tuesday, September 17th, 2024 A season's worth of hard work has culminated in a division championship for the Portland Beavers. The club officially clinched its spot atop the Thurman Munson League Earl Weaver Division today, with plenty of games to spare. "It feels pretty good to get it wrapped up early and now be able to set ourselves up for the playoffs," said starting pitcher Tanner Johnson. The club currently has a 88-62 record and this is their 4th division championship. "We want to bring the 1st ABL World Series to Portland," said Francisco Aguilar. "We think we've got what it takes to be the best in ADULT BASEBALL LEAGUE." |
