Hornets Easily Wins Thurman Munson League Sparky Anderson Division Wednesday, September 11th, 2024 The Eureka Hornets have crushed the competition in the Thurman Munson League Sparky Anderson Division and today it became official - the team has clinched the division crown. "You never want to let off the throttle, no many how many games you are up in the standings," said reliever Ashoka Pancholi. "We knew it was our division to win, but you never know what will happen until it's official." The Eureka have been the class of the division this season and with a 98-46 record thus far can lay claim to their 7th division crown. The club's manager has gotten a lot of credit for preparing his team for the season. "I think it's safe to say it's ABL World Series or bust at this point," Toin Furukawa said. |
