Star of the Week Awarded in TML Monday, September 9th, 2024 A battle-tested Pat Bancroft declared war on opposing pitchers last week, attacking the ball like the well-schooled veteran he is. Today the 34-year-old Portland right fielder collected the Thurman Munson League Player of the Week Award. He wrapped up the week with a .655 average, 19 hits in 29 at-bats, 1 home run, 7 RBIs and 9 runs scored. For the year Bancroft has hit .318 with 17 home runs, 70 RBIs and scored 101 runs. |
