RedWolves Lose Ovidio Montaņio Thursday, September 5th, 2024 The Waco RedWolves will lose the services of reliever Ovidio Montaņio after he sustained a torn rotator cuff while throwing a pitch in today's game against the San Diego Hops. "I'll get through it," Montaņio said. "The key now is to stay positive." His trainer said he is expected to be sidelined for 5-6 months. Montaņio has earned 1 save and a 0-3 mark this season with a 4.70 earned run average in 14 relief appearances. He has worked 44 innings, yielded 52 hits, struck out 36 batters and walked 16. |
