Mustangs SP Hill Out Thursday, September 5th, 2024 The Mile High Mustangs were dealt a severe blow when Rick Hill was hurt throwing a pitch recently in a game against the Kansas City Tornadoes. After the game, the team trainer reported Hill might have to spend a lengthy time on the disabled list. Today doctors confirmed it, ruling the 23-year-old starting pitcher out for the rest of the season with shoulder inflammation. They indicated it would take Hill at least 3 months to heal. Checking out his stats for the season, Hill has racked up 11 wins and 8 losses in 32 starts, 4.99 ERA and struck out 162 batters in 182 innings. |
