Yamasaki Homers 3 Times Against Havana Tuesday, September 3rd, 2024 Kiyonobu Yamasaki must believe in the Big Bang theory. He proved it today by going deep three times against the Havana Stogies. The heavy-hitting Duke City center fielder added a lot of firepower and excitement to today's 15-0 win over the Stogies. Fans and foes alike are still buzzing about his standout performance at The Danger Zone. He told reporters, "I've been working on my swing ... trying to keep it short, compact and simple. It worked today." For the game he had 3 hits in 5 at-bats, drove in 6, and scored 3 runs. Kiyonobu Yamasaki grounded out in the 1st, flied out in the 3rd, hit a two-run home run off Michael West in the 5th, hit a three-run home run off Bill Russell in the 6th and hit a solo-shot off James Logan in the 8th. This season Yamasaki has hit 37 home runs and posted a .361 batting average. |
