Carter Wins TML Best Player Award Monday, September 2nd, 2024 At the age of 28, Alvin Carter might have some potential he hasn't realized yet -- if his success at the plate last week is any indication. The San Francisco right fielder put up some exceptional numbers the past seven days with a .636 batting average. For his efforts Carter collected the Thurman Munson League Player of the Week Award. He racked up 7 hits in 11 at-bats, 3 home runs and 7 RBIs last week in 5 games. Looking at his season stats, Carter has compiled a .278 batting average and a .354 on-base percentage, while hitting 15 home runs and driving in 53 runs. |
