Ruíz Week's Best Player Monday, August 12th, 2024 So far in his young career, Esteban Ruíz has kept a low profile, but after his performance at the plate last week, he attracted the notice of the rest of the Thurman Munson League in a big way as he was named the Player of the Week today for his efforts. The 24-year-old Jacksonville Jacks shortstop hit at a torrid .481 clip as he collected 13 hits in 27 at-bats, 7 home runs, 14 RBIs and 11 runs scored. So far this season Ruíz has 21 home runs and a .280 batting average. |
