Player of the Week Trophy to Yamasaki Monday, August 5th, 2024 At the age of 26, Kiyonobu Yamasaki might have some potential he hasn't realized yet -- if his success at the plate last week is any indication. The Duke City center fielder put up some exceptional numbers the past seven days with a .552 batting average. For his efforts Yamasaki collected the Roberto Clemente League Player of the Week Award. He racked up 16 hits in 29 at-bats, 5 home runs and 13 RBIs last week in 7 games. So far this season Yamasaki is hitting .365 with 27 home runs. |
