North Hits in 20 Straight Games Tuesday, July 23rd, 2024 Oliver North of the Kansas City Tornadoes just keeps going and going. The hot-hitting center fielder went 1-for-3 in his team's 7-5 victory over the Jacksonville Jacks at Debris Field and extended his hitting streak to 20 games. "He is definitely on a roll right now" said a Jacks pitcher. "I thought I made some good pitches against him, but he's a good hitter and hit 'em anyway." When asked about his performance, North said, "I don't care if I go hitless as long as we get the win." Oliver North singled in the 1st, struck out in the 2nd, walked in the 4th and grounded out in the 7th. This year North has hit 1 home run and posted a .384 batting average. |
