Frend Sensational, 6-for-7 Tuesday, July 23rd, 2024 Steve Frend had an answer for everything the New York Mafia threw him today in the Duke City 16-7 triumph at Don Corleone Park. He made good contact 6 times and 6 times he drilled the ball for a base hit. The Duke City first baseman went 6 for 7 in the game to put his name in the record book. Summing up his batting philosophy to BNN writers after the game, Frend said, "I just see the ball and I hit it."
