Duke City SP William Howard Injured Tuesday, July 23rd, 2024 The Duke City Danger were dealt a severe blow when William Howard was hurt throwing a pitch recently in a game against the New York Mafia. After the game, the team trainer reported Howard might have to spend a lengthy time on the disabled list. Today doctors confirmed it, ruling the 31-year-old starting pitcher out for the rest of the season with a torn flexor tendon in his elbow. They indicated it would take Howard at least 14 months to heal. So far this season Howard has a 5-6 record with a 4.94 ERA. |
