Kansas City DH Toyoda Will Miss 6 Months Wednesday, July 17th, 2024 Kansas City Tornadoes designated hitter Akio Toyoda left yesterday's game against the Quebec Armada after suffering a broken bone in the elbow running the bases. Toyoda was taken to the clubhouse for examination by team doctors. A team spokesman told BNN today Toyoda is expected to miss 6 months. So far this season Toyoda has 13 home runs and a .295 batting average. |
