Hit Streak Now at 20 for Bishop Tuesday, July 16th, 2024 The Portland Beavers whipped Jersey today 2-1, but didn't stop Alan Bishop's consecutive-game hitting streak. The Jesters second baseman collected 1 hit and pushed the number to 20 games in a row. Alan Bishop struck out in the 2nd, hit a solo-shot off Tanner Johnson in the 5th, struck out in the 7th and flied out in the 9th. Thus far in 2024 Bishop is hitting .322 with 10 home runs, 34 RBIs, 36 runs scored and has compiled a .370 OBP. |
