Montreal Sends Ueno to Manhattan Beach Thursday, July 11th, 2024 In a hastily called press conference, Montreal announced today a trade with Manhattan Beach that will send 30-year-old RHP Yoshiaga Ueno, 20-year-old minor league 2B Donald Latulippe, 21-year-old minor league RHP Esteban Madrid and 26-year-old CF Yoshihisa Kimura to the Patriots in exchange for 30-year-old LF Steve McGowan and 25-year-old RHP Sotatsu Hayagawa. All players are expected to be in their respective new cities in time for today's games. On the year Ueno has worked 75.1 innings with 58 strikeouts en route to a 4-6 record and 4.54 ERA. In 86 games this year McGowan has posted a .354 average and put up these numbers: 20 home runs, 55 RBIs and 76 runs scored. |
