Deal: Soileau for Lawson Friday, July 5th, 2024 Several Marauders and Earthquakes players soon will have to start shopping for a new home. It was announced today that the two teams came to agreement on a trade. Maple will get 28-year-old RHP Walt Lawson and 30-year-old LHP Adrien Clément and San Francisco will pick up 19-year-old minor league 1B Adam Hounsell and 20-year-old minor league 2B Wayne Soileau in return. "I'm not surprised by the news," one of the players told reporters, "It's part of the business and I understand that. I am looking forward to playing for the Marauders." So far this season Lawson has a 6-6 record, 17 starts, 98 innings, 74 strikeouts and a 4.41 ERA. |
