RCL Awards Best Batter Prize to Sepkiechler Monday, June 24th, 2024 Terrence Sepkiechler must have thought he was dreaming. First he went on an exceptional week-long batting spree, bashing the ball at a .583 clip, then the San Diego third baseman finds outs he has been chosen the league's best performer and gets the RCL Player of the Week Award. He told BNN reporters in the postgame, "It was a great week for me. I could see the ball so well. Plus some of the balls seemed to have good eyes, too." For the week Sepkiechler batted .583 (14-for-24) with 1 home run and 7 RBIs. Sepkiechler is batting .342 with 7 home runs and 52 RBIs this season. |
