San Diego's Tosewell Down with Injury Tuesday, June 18th, 2024 The Hops received bad news this morning. Mal Tosewell will miss 8 months due to shoulder inflammation. He sustained the injury in the San Diego-Brooklyn game while throwing a pitch. "I'm disappointed more than anything," he told reporters later in the day. "You can't help your team on the bench," Tosewell sighed. "I'll do the rehab work and hope for a quick recovery." This year Tosewell has registered 7 wins and 2 losses in 15 starts with a 3.86 ERA while registering 79 strikeouts and 21 walks in 86.1 innings. |
