Romo Strokes 5 Hits Saturday, June 15th, 2024 It was a big day for Ricardo Romo of the San Diego Hops. He led his club to a 7-5 victory over the Georgia Grays today at The Death Star. The 27-year-old left fielder smoked Grays pitching for 5 hits in 5 at-bats. Ricardo Romo doubled in the 2nd, hit a two-run home run off George Alexander Lewis in the 3rd, doubled in the 5th, hit a two-run home run off George Alexander Lewis in the 7th and singled in the 9th. Looking at his season stats, Romo has compiled a .331 batting average and a .366 on-base percentage, while hitting 13 home runs and driving in 43 runs. |
