Rocher Belts 5 Hits Saturday, June 15th, 2024 It wasn't just another day at the ballpark for Victor Rocher. It was a very special day, one that many players never experience. But he did. Rocher went on a tear and cracked hit after hit off Eureka pitching. When the dust settled on the diamond at Metroplex Park, he had a career 5-for-5 day and something he will long remember. And the Dallas Texans had a 4-3 victory over the Hornets. "Yeah, it'll be something nice to tell the grandkids, but it won't get me a hit tomorrow," he joked in the postgame interview. Victor Rocher singled in the 1st, doubled in the 3rd, singled in the 5th, walked in the 7th, hit a solo-shot off Claude Howard in the 9th and doubled in the 12th. For the season Rocher has hit .250 with 2 home runs and 18 RBIs. He has played in 53 games and scored 25 times. |
