Manhattan Beach Fired up Over 'Edwards Moments' Friday, June 14th, 2024 Members of the Manhattan Beach Patriots know their manager does his job with emotion, and it's a quality that is endearing to the team. The club has coined Bobby Edwards's emotional outbursts as "Edwards Moments" and said they are well received. "It shows he's passionate about the game and wants to win," said Alberto Ramírez. "When he blows up at something in the dugout, or in the clubhouse, I think it sharpens our focus as a team, and gets the guys fired up." Edwards laughed when told his emotional outbursts have been coined with a nickname. "This is just the way I manage and they way I go about my life. I'm not going to hide my emotions," he said. "If that fires the boys up, that's a bonus."" |
