San Francisco Helpless Against Young Tuesday, June 4th, 2024 Rob Young effectively shut down the Earthquakes today, blanking them 5-0 on 4 hits, ringing up 8 strikeouts and allowing 1 walk. The Sasquatch pitcher appeared to get stronger as the game went on. "I don't know if I was getting any stronger," Young said after the game, "I feel like my mechanics were getting better. I was able to make some adjustments and get a little more comfortable out there." The Earthquakes skipper said, "We had some opportunities, but weren't able to execute. We just didn't swing the bats very well today." This year Young has worked 71.2 innings with 68 strikeouts en route to a 3-4 record and a 4.90 ERA. |
