May's Top Newcomer Picked by RCL Saturday, June 1st, 2024 Woodrow Maxwell of the Havana Stogies just ended a sensational month, but it didn't end there. He topped it off with the Roberto Clemente League Rookie of the Month award. The talented left fielder took the honor in May by hitting .453 in 25 games, racking up 39 hits, 6 home runs, 16 RBIs and 17 runs scored. This season Maxwell has delivered 79 hits in 190 at-bats for a .416 average with 12 home runs. He is getting on base at a .448 clip and his totals also include 32 RBIs and 32 runs scored. This year Maxwell has played in 51 games. |
