McGowan Week's Top Player Monday, May 27th, 2024 At the age of 30, Steve McGowan might have some potential he hasn't realized yet -- if his success at the plate last week is any indication. The Manhattan Beach left fielder put up some exceptional numbers the past seven days with a .409 batting average. For his efforts McGowan collected the Roberto Clemente League Player of the Week Award. He racked up 9 hits in 22 at-bats, 5 home runs and 11 RBIs last week in 7 games. Thus far this year McGowan has hit .383 with 15 home runs and 38 RBIs. |
