Paul Barrett Out 5 Months
Monday, May 20th, 2024
The Eureka Hornets were dealt a severe blow when Paul Barrett was hurt throwing a pitch recently in a game against the Georgia Grays. After the game, the team trainer reported Barrett might have to spend a lengthy time on the disabled list. Today doctors confirmed it, ruling the 21-year-old starting pitcher out for the rest of the season with radial nerve compression. They indicated it would take Barrett at least 5 months to heal.

In the current season in 10 starts, Paul Barrett has a record of 5-2 with 58 strikeouts in 56.2 innings and a 3.97 ERA.
