Buck Belts Bunch of Base Hits Wednesday, May 15th, 2024 "It was almost like batting practice. I saw the ball very well and could just about hit it anywhere I wanted." That's what Jersey first baseman Tim Buck said to BNN reporters after his fantastic 5-for-6 day against the Cabo San Lucas Toreros at Field de Los Layendas. "I got some good counts and used the whole field." The Jesters had a good day, too, and won the ballgame 11-10. Tim Buck singled in the 1st, grounded out in the 4th, singled in the 5th, hit a two-run single in the 6th, singled in the 9th and singled in the 11th. Looking at his stats this year, Buck has compiled a .301 batting average, while hitting 2 home runs and driving in 18 runs. He has played in 36 games and scored 15 runs. |
