Flores Week's Best in TML Monday, May 6th, 2024 26-year-old Wilson Flores sent shock waves through ADULT BASEBALL LEAGUE last week with an eye-popping performance that brought him the Thurman Munson League Player of the Week Award. A newcomer to the league, Flores made the establishment sit up and take notice, punishing opposing pitchers with a .542 average, 13 hits in 24 at-bats, 1 home run and 6 runs batted in. Where the Portland Beavers center fielder goes from here, only the baseball gods know for sure, but Flores certainly made his mark last week. Hitting .294 to date, Flores has 3 home runs and 20 RBIs. He has played in 31 games. |
