TML Choice for Batter of the Month is Bergeron Wednesday, May 1st, 2024 Mike Bergeron received the Thurman Munson League Batter of the Month trophy earlier today for his efforts at the plate this last month. "He might be getting older," Mile High's manager told reporters, "But he's been around long enough to know what it takes to put a stretch such as this together... and he doesn't keep that to himself. He's always talking to the younger guys in the clubhouse helping 'em any way they'll let him. Mike's value to our team goes farther than the numbers he puts up on the field." To win the honor Bergeron put up a .393 batting average, 13 home runs, 26 RBIs and scored 23 times in April. |
