José Contreras Hurt, Out 6 Weeks Sunday, April 28th, 2024 So Cal Republic center fielder José Contreras suffered a sprained ankle during a recent game with the Georgia Grays and will miss 6 weeks. Contreras told BNN, "I hurt it making a defensive play. I'm optimistic that I will be back quicker than they say." Contreras is currently batting .255 with 8 home runs, 29 RBIs and 19 runs scored. He has 24 hits in 94 at-bats. |
