It was announced today in Havana that Stogies shortstop Oscar Jones will be out 9-10 months. Jones suffered a ruptured medial collateral ligament that occurred during a game against the Waco RedWolves.

This year Jones has collected a .200 batting average to date with 13 hits in 65 at-bats, 9 RBIs, 2 home runs and scored 7 times. He has played in 17 games.
