So Cal Republic Ship Binkley to Waco Monday, January 22nd, 2024 There were plenty of hugs and handshakes passed out as 30-year-old SS Michael Binkley and 16-year-old minor league SS Fernando Franco left the So Cal Republic today en route to joining the Waco RedWolves organization. 23-year-old minor league CF Shadi bin Mufeed will be traveling to So Cal Republic to complete the swap. Binkley is hitting .270 during his 288-game career. He has 243 hits, 54 doubles, 7 triples, 17 home runs, 118 RBIs, 14 stolen bases and 126 runs scored. A check of his lifetime stats shows bin Mufeed has a career .278 average with 150 hits, 23 doubles, 5 triples, 3 home runs and 50 RBIs. To date he has scored 83 runs, walked 44 times and stolen 49 bases. |
