In this move, the Republic shipped 22-year-old RF Allen Baker, 29-year-old RF Frank Coleman, 21-year-old minor league LHP Shafeeq bin Nooh, 22-year-old minor league RHP Brett Beck and 22-year-old minor league RHP Kitahachi Fukuda to the Mustangs for 28-year-old SS Dayne Reagan. The So Cal GM told reporters, "I think this trade is beneficial to everyone involved, including the players." Lifetime Coleman is hitting .287 with 488 hits, 92 doubles, 6 triples and 82 home runs. He has scored 285 runs and driven in 296. Over his career Reagan is batting .292 with 262 doubles, 51 triples, 61 home runs, 372 RBIs and scored 549 runs in 857 games. |
