$8,700,000 Lands 3B Alvarado for Beavers Tuesday, December 5th, 2023 The Portland Beavers have called a press conference later today to announce the signing of third baseman Valentín Alvarado to a 3-year, $8,700,000 contract. Both Alvarado and the Beavers are said to be very pleased to come to this agreement. In his career Alvarado has racked up 888 hits with a .273 average and .328 on-base percentage.
