Off-Field Injury Sidelines Cannon Saturday, December 2nd, 2023 Washington starting pitcher John Cannon called in hurt today. He told Federals officials that he had suffered an elbow strain when his fingers got stuck in a bowling ball. After being examined by his physician Cannon said it looked like he would probably miss about 6 weeks. Over the course of his career, Cannon has a won-lost record of 40 wins and 56 losses with 678 strikeouts in 721.2 innings pitched with a lifetime 5.74 ERA. |
