Matt Winters Chosen TML's #1 Player Thursday, November 9th, 2023 "Words can't quite express how it feels right now," was the comment Matt Winters of the Kansas City Tornadoes made today after being named the 2023 Silver Slugger Award recipient. "It's an honor to join the list of the other fine players that have won this award." Winters smacked opposing pitchers around for a .402 batting average and a .473 on-base percentage this year, tallying 37 doubles, 8 triples, 12 home runs, 123 RBIs and 122 runs scored. Ron Verity of the Jersey Jesters finished second in voting, while Oliver North of the Kansas City Tornadoes finished third. |
