New York's White Reaps RCL's Rookie Award Monday, November 6th, 2023 Today the BBN baseball writers announced the winner of the Roberto Clemente League Rookie of the Year Award. The premier rookie in 2023 was New York designated hitter Doug White. He finished the regular season with a .336 batting average, 32 doubles, 4 triples and 43 home runs. White also had 133 RBIs and scored 117 times. Sean Brooks of the Montreal Bandits finished second in voting, while Nadir Rizvi of the Minnesota Berserkers finished third. |
