Nevárez Named Top Reliever for RCL Sunday, November 5th, 2023 The manager of the Seattle Sasquatch said he always had confidence handing the ball to Andrés Nevárez out of the bullpen. The 28-year-old was a dominant performer all year for Seattle and his efforts have been rewarded with the Roberto Clemente League Reliever of the Year Award for 2023. The bullpen ace had an impressive 2.10 ERA this season, with 35 saves in 63 relief appearances. He fanned 92 batters in 64.1 innings and sported a record of 7 wins and 4 losses. Pat Short of the Montreal Bandits finished second in voting, while Aaron Taylor of the So Cal Republic finished third. |
