Rodríguez Raps Brooklyn for 5 Hits Sunday, October 1st, 2023 Who needs batting practice? Luis Rodríguez of Manhattan Beach apparently doesn't as he battered Brooklyn with a 5-hit outburst in today's game to lead his club to a 13-2 win. He told the press after the game, "And I didn't even take BP today. I think I have been taking too many swings before game and decided to take a day off. Wow, this was really something... a 5 for 5 day... will my name be in the record books now?" Luis Rodríguez singled in the 1st, hit a solo-shot off Cristoforo Giugino in the 3rd, hit a two-run home run off Cristoforo Giugino in the 5th, singled in the 6th and singled in the 8th. Currently Rodríguez is batting .307 with 19 home runs and 74 RBIs. |
