Winters Produces Record-Breaking Hit Sunday, September 24th, 2023 Matt Winters treated the spectators on hand at The Nest to a record-setting performance. During today's game, the Kansas City star established a new record for hits in a season. Hit number 254 surpassed the mark set previously by Alvin Baldwin. The fans rewarded Winters with an enthusiastic ovation. Matt Winters hit an RBI double in the 1st, singled in the 3rd and singled in the 5th.
