Larry Parker May Never Play Again
Tuesday, September 12th, 2023
An injury, a concussion, has put an early end to the baseball career of Pax River's 30-year-old catcher Larry Parker. He was injured in yesterday's game against the San Diego Hops while colliding with a player at home plate. Team doctors reported today that the injury is so severe that Parker will not be able to continue playing and will have to retire from the game.

In 113 games this year Parker has posted a .250 average and put up these numbers: 15 home runs, 50 RBIs and 39 runs scored.
