Week's Top Player: Eureka's Galindo Monday, September 11th, 2023 It's always a thrill for fans of the team and students of the game alike when a superstar in the making shows what he's got. Luis Galindo, the Eureka Hornets 25-year-old right fielder, put himself in the spotlight last week making him the clear-cut choice for Thurman Munson League Player of the Week honors. He ripped 13 hits in 31 at-bats, compiling a .419 average with 3 home runs and 7 RBIs. Galindo currently has a .289 batting average with 118 hits, 21 homers, 71 RBIs, 64 runs scored and a .344 OBP. |
