Another Setback For Duke City's Edgar Smith Saturday, September 9th, 2023 Yesterday Duke City left fielder Edgar Smith sustained a setback in his recovery from knee tendinitis. The Danger medical staff told him it would be at least one week before he will be able to return to action. Smith told reporters, "The healing process has gone extremely well. This is just a little hiccup and a little setback." Apparently Smith worked a little too hard in a recent workout and caused more damage. His doctors have advised him to do only light exercise and give the injury time to heal. In 2023 Smith has hit at a .313 clip with 116 hits, 15 home runs, 52 RBIs and has scored 67 times. |
