Powell TML Choice for Best Pitcher Friday, September 1st, 2023 Lonnie Powell has been around the league long enough to know that relievers are often overlooked. That has never stopped him from doing what he does best -- and he did it extremely well in August and stole away with the Thurman Munson League Pitcher of the Month award. The Jesters bullpen ace collected 10 saves and 27 strikeouts in 17 innings, holding the opposition to a .140 average and posting a 1.06 ERA and a 2-0 record. In 2023 Powell has totaled 59 relief appearances and saved 24. His record is 5-5 with 101 strikeouts in 67.1 innings and a 3.74 ERA. |
