Thurman Munson League Names Top Player Monday, August 28th, 2023 26-year-old Wilson Flores sent shock waves through ADULT BASEBALL LEAGUE last week with an eye-popping performance that brought him the Thurman Munson League Player of the Week Award. A newcomer to the league, Flores made the establishment sit up and take notice, punishing opposing pitchers with a .571 average, 12 hits in 21 at-bats, no home runs and 6 RBI. Where the Portland Beavers center fielder goes from here, only the baseball gods know for sure, but Flores certainly made his mark last week. In his season totals, Flores has 4 home runs, .326 BA, .376 OBP, 26 RBIs and 29 runs scored. He has played in 46 games. |
