Glover 5-5 for Seattle Friday, August 25th, 2023 There are moments in a player's career that they will not soon forget. Chris Glover of the Sasquatch had one of those moments when he went 5 for 5 at the plate today, but he couldn't pull out the victory. Despite his hitting heroics, Seattle fell in defeat 13-5 to the Eureka Hornets at Sick's Stadium. The 28-year-old third baseman told reporters in the postgame interview, "This was quite a day for me individually, but a little disheartening at the same time. It would have been very special, if we had won the game." Chris Glover doubled in the 2nd, hit an RBI single in the 3rd, hit an RBI single in the 5th, hit an RBI double in the 7th and singled in the 9th. So far this season, Glover has recorded a .326 batting average with 143 hits, 25 home runs, 82 RBIs, 73 runs scored and a .404 OBP. |
