Winters Hittin' on All Cylinders Wednesday, August 16th, 2023 Tornadoes right fielder Matt Winters made big news today in the Kansas City 42-5 victory over Duke City. He was 4-for-8 at the plate and hit for the cycle. Matt Winters flied out in the 1st, flied out in the 3rd, grounded out in the 4th, flied out in the 5th, walked in the 6th, hit a two-run triple in the 7th, hit a two-run home run off Ánibal Machado in the 8th, hit a two-run single in the 8th and hit an RBI double in the 8th. So far this year Winters has 11 home runs and a .413 batting average. |
