Young Wins RCL Player of the Week Prize Monday, June 19th, 2023 It's always a thrill for fans of the team and students of the game alike when a superstar in the making shows what he's got. Joe Young, the Seattle Sasquatch 25-year-old right fielder, put himself in the spotlight last week making him the clear-cut choice for Roberto Clemente League Player of the Week honors. He ripped 13 hits in 28 at-bats, compiling a .464 average with 3 home runs and 8 RBIs. For the year Young is batting .427 with 19 home runs, 66 RBIs and 42 runs scored. |
