Tornadoes Barnes Down with Injury Wednesday, June 14th, 2023 After injuring himself, Tornadoes starting pitcher Bill Barnes headed straight to the hospital. He was removed from the game as a precaution after throwing a pitch and the team's worst fears were confirmed when it turned out to be a little more serious. Barnes will miss at least 4 months with a torn back muscle. So far this season, Barnes has logged a 8-2 record with a 4.36 ERA. He has started 13 games, hurled 74.1 innings and registered 51 strikeouts and 32 walks. |
